Horton Family Construction – Terms and ConditionsEffective Date: [07/04/2025]These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all construction services provided by Horton Family Construction (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) as outlined in any accepted estimate, proposal, or contract.1. Scope of WorkAll work will be performed as described in the written estimate or proposal provided. Any changes must be requested in writing and may result in additional charges and time extensions.2. Estimates and PricingEstimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final pricing may vary depending on material costs, change orders, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify the Client of any major deviations.3. Payment TermsA deposit of [e.g., 30%] is due upon signing.Progress payments will be due according to the schedule outlined in the contract.Final payment is due upon completion of work.Late payments may incur interest at [e.g., 1.5%] per month and/or suspension of work.4. Insurance and LiabilityWe carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Horton Family Construction harmless for claims resulting from Client negligence or interference.10. TerminationEither party may terminate this agreement with [e.g., 10] days written notice. The Client will be responsible for payment of work completed and materials purchased up to the termination date.11. Dispute ResolutionIn the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before seeking legal action.12.
